I purchased this printer as a means to show all of you the benefits or non-benefits of using this handy little gizmo, but perhaps the frustration of using my old trusty printer forced my hand in particular printing out on sheet labels.
I had originally used another label printer at work which made me think more along the lines of getting one of the same. Having searched the net, I came across the Dymo Label Writer 400 (which is much neater than the one I have and so I bought it).
Comes with everything you need to get started, sample roll of labels, printer, cables, drivers and software. Very easy to setup though it did take me a couple of minutes to work out how to fit the roll of labels, which is actually very straight forward, obviously having a blonde moment! lol
Comes with its own software so you can have an address book within it (can be imported also) so just click on details and print label right away with the click of a button. There are numerous labels available which I have also bought a selection of so it is available at any time I may need them. Print quality is excellent and no need to worry about ink cartridge like I first did as there is none. It work on a thermal transfer principal, thus the special labels. Unit looks very nice, easy to use and straightforward.
