Welcome back to another Office National stationery review which this time concentrates on the revolutionary ''Pritt Compact Correction Roller'' which whilst the idea isn't particularly new we just want to keep you appraised of the handy features that make the ''Roller''an alternative to the original liquid fluid made famous by tippex!
Quoting the manufacturer: ''our permanent Mini Roller is the ideal companion in your pencil case. It features an extra-small housing with 6m tape length, ideally sized for take away.''
Whilst Tippex has been for many years the most popular and widely used correction device opting for fluid which if you'll excuse was a tad irritating to use after a week or so as the fluid tended to congeal around the bottle opening, as I'm sure you'll all remember too well!! It always surprise me that so many customers still buy original Tippex liquid, even though Tippex have produced a wide range of correction tapes and pens over the years which in my view are much easier to use...but maybe its not being used for correcting anymore...could be the lumpy snow on hand made xmas cards!
As an avid writer on both the keyboard and paper I've found that I've developed a rather uneasy relationship with Tippex which to correct my numerous grammatical errors was all well and good, that was until I discovered the Pritts Correction Roller, and better still the compact!
Pritt Compact Review:
Simplicity itself as merely by lining the openings of the nib to the line of words and pressing down will produce an instant correction! As expected with such a simple device use is very easy, was a pleasant experience which left no lumps or bumps as would with liquid correction fluid!
Bad Points:
The film does tend to twist upon occasion in a similar fashion to an audio cassette! The tape doesnt last as long as a bottle or Tippex....and its rubbish at making snow on xmas cards!
Good Points:
Everything else, is a far superior type of correction device than its predecessors of which I will not return to again
